There are 5-20 main motors that control all the motor functions in the chair, and more if you count the various vibrating motors. The number of motors affects the strength and durability of a massage chair. .the more motors the better. Chairs with more motors often designate each motor to a single function making the load on each individual motor less.
Stronger Massage chairs more closely resemble the work of massage therapists. The strength can be softened through intensity adjustments and added back pads. | Are your chairs leather? |
|
All of the top manufactures of massage chairs use high quality stretchable synthetic leather. Most of our chairs recline to 170 degrees (180 being flat) the leg section does go flat and the back goes far enough that you feel like it is flat. | How much assembly is required on the chairs? |
|
The only assembly required is to mount the Remote Holder under the right-side arm of the chair (2 screws included) and to mount the Tea Table under the left-side arm of the chair (2 screws included). You will also need to mount the FAR Infrared heat lamp at the screw on jack located on the left-side rear base of the chair. Lastly, you will need to plug the main power cord into the right-side rear base of the chair.

| How does one start to use chairs like these? |
|
Once you receive your massage chair you can call 1-800-841-2809 and ask a representative to walk you through the Remote Control Functions. It is recommended that the first time you are in the chair that you do not exceed 15 minutes. This will allow you to see if you experience any muscle soreness. The finished padding that gives the recliner its look is designed for you to either lift-off from the rollers for a Deep-Tissue massage or you can add additional foam padding behind it.
Some people may prefer to experience a deep tissue massage and there are those that may need to add the extra foam padding underneath the existing padding in the beginning to soften the massage as their body adapts to receiving a full body massage. | Do I have to pay shipping charges? |
| No! We offer free shipping anywhere inside the Continental U.S. There are three types of delivery that you may choose. Canada, Alaska and Hawaii will include some shipping charges.
Note: We only Offer the "Curb Side" Delivery in Canada, Alaska and Hawaii:
- Curbside Residential is free! You will be expected to meet the delivery truck at the street or Curbside. This is when you will be expected to accept and sign for the delivery.
- Threshold Delivery is $99.99. This delivery includes the delivery of the chair to the Garage or to the Front door of the home. This is to ensure that that the chair is delivered out of bad weather. You will be required to accept and sign for the delivery of the chair.
- White-Glove Delivery is $349.95 and includes limited In-Home set-up of the chair and clean-up.
The delivery will include bringing the chair in the home and the setting up of the chair. Please Do Not Allow the Delivery Team to destroy your box and packing material as you will need to have these to return the chair.

Express process shipping is an In-House processing of your order. Express Process Shipping ensures that your order will ship the First Business Day after your order has been placed in the system.

We can ship the order for free to a delivery point in the USA. You will need to arrange any additional shipping and Customs fees, Broker and Border fees required to have the shipment delivered to the ultimate delivery destination. |

|
The chairs will arrive to you via a lift-gate delivery truck. Please review the three different types of delivery options available to you to ensure that you are comfortable with the manner in which the chair will arrive to you. I.E. Curbside delivery may not work for you if you live on the 30th floor of a high rise apartment or have illnesses or injury. |

| Can I pay with a check, money order, or cashier's check? |
| Yes. Before making your purchase online, you will need to phone in and place the order with a sales representative. This initial order will note the product and price of the product and the date the order was placed in the system. The order amount will be provided to you and the order will be forwarded as a HELD RECEIPT. You will need to mail the form of payment that you are going to use to our headquarters in Melbourne, Florida.

| Do I have to pay taxes on my purchase? |

In most locations, no. Takemi Select does not charge taxes on purchases outside the state of Florida. However, the state of Florida requires that all purchases be charged tax. |

| How does Takemi Select financing work? |
|
The 90 days and 12 months "Same as Cash" financing plans are interest-free and are essentially the same. These imply that as long as you pay the order in full before the end of the 90 Day or 12 month period ends that you will be charged no interest for your purchase. The 90 days Interest Free financing is the most widely used form of the Interest-Free applications. You will be applying for a line of credit through GE Money Bank for the purchase of the chair. Just print out the application by clicking here and fax it back to us along with a copy of two forms of I.D. We must receive a legible copy of both sides of the two forms of I.D. These can be a driver's license and credit card or some other form of I.D. that can be used to verify your identity . We will process the GE application and call you to finalize your order. |

| I see that you offer the "Buyer's Insurance" In-Home Trial. What's the catch? |
|
The "Buyer's Insurance" allows you to bring the chair in you home for 7 days and return the chair at no cost. You will be fully reimbursed after the chair has arrived back at the Takemi Select Distribution Center and has completed the return-arrival inspection. The order will forward to the refund department for a full refund. The chair must be in the ORIGINAL new condition box and packaging and must arrive back at the Takemi Select Distribution Center in new re-saleable condition.
Please note that there is no return delivery cost as long as you initiate the return of the massage chair from the first 7 days after receiving the massage chair. If you are not completely satisfied with the massage chair for any reason at all, please email customer service within the first 7 days starting with the day that you received the chair and we will bring the chair back and provide you with a full refund.

The difference is that all 30-Day returns will require the pre-payment of the return delivery cost, and the 7-Day returns do not. Once the Arrival Inspection Dept. clears the chair for the refund, the order will forward to the refund department for a full refund. The chair and original box and packaging must arrive back at the Takemi Select Distribution Center in New Re-saleable condition.
You must call or email customer service within the first 30 days after receiving the chair Starting with the day that you received and signed for the shipment. We will bring the chair back and provide you with a full refund of the chair.
